My name is Megan Burtness and I am a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Kansas State University with a Bachelors of Science in Secondary Education with an emphasis in English, and minors in English and Leadership Studies. My top strengths are: Individualization, Connectedness, Belief, Strategic, and Learner. These equip me to strongly advocate for the unique characteristics of every student and strive to discover and encourage what ignites their passions on an individualized level.
During my time at K-State, I was the New Member Trainer and Secretary for Alpha of Clovia Leadership House, Vice-President of the K-State chapter of Food Recovery Network, a member of Tau Beta Sigma (national honorary band service sorority) and a piccolo player in the Kansas State University Marching Band.
In my free time, I enjoy watching movies, hiking, listening to and playing music, visiting small coffee shops, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
